The following is this year's Letter to the Marshfield Mariner Editor regarding Green Harbor Village Association's 2016 Harvestfest.
Community is a Sign that Love is Possible
Every year we hope and pray for a beautiful fall day for our annual Green Harbor Village Harvestfest! God must have heard our prayer as it was a picture perfect day this year! Everyone was in the mood for an opportunity to just come together for some fun and laughter and just BE. Leaving stress and politics on the back burner for a few hours. A time to come together as a grateful community that believes we are very blessed to live where we do.
The intention of Harvestfest remains the same. To foster greater pride and passion for our community as well as raise funds to help beautify and support it where we can. A big thank you to all who attended and spent hard earned dollars on food and/or raffle tickets. You are now a part of the Green Harbor Village Association!
It was also an opportunity for Governor Winslow 5th Grade PTO, Marshfield High School Girls Field Hockey, Friends of Girls & Boys Marshfield Hockey, The Sanctuary Food Bank, the PFLAG group and the Marshfield Animal Shelter to gain awareness and support for their great causes.

Twelve delicious soups were entered into the Soupfest this year. Thank you so much for your donations! The soups are always a big hit with the crowd!
